MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY
If you're intrigued with close-up photography, you'll absolutely love this class! We'll discuss macro lenses, closest focusing distance, maximum magnification factor, depth of field, focus stacking, tripod use, extension tubes, close-up filters, abstraction, patterns in nature, fractal geometry, macro flashes, inexpensive lighting options (to simulate studio photography) and projects you can shoot indoors, at home. Homework assignments will allow you to bring your personal interests and location into the process. We'll meet up again a few weeks later for a photo review.

All cameras are welcome: DSLR, mirrorless, film and iPhone/Android.

Images submitted for the photo review must be straight out of the camera/phone, with absolutely no post-production- including cropping. This will allow me to give accurate feedback. If you shoot in RAW, please convert to JPG. Get a Dropbox.com account, upload your photos, then "share" them with me so we can view them in class.

Tuesdays, February 1 and 15, 2022, 6:30-9:30pm, $100
