ON LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHY
If you love travel photography, this is the class for you! Learn to take better photographs while visiting iconic, and metro accessible, locations in Washington, DC. Get real time advice on camera controls (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure compensation), photographic compositions (simplicity & balance) and natural lighting conditions which will consistently lead to better photographs. Sessions will meet throughout DC to photograph architecture, sculpture, gardens, events, people and more.

All cameras are welcome: DSLR, mirrorless, film and iPhone/Android.

We'll meet online twice for photo reviews. We'll meet in the field for the other sessions.

FACE MASK REQUIREMENTS: The recommendation of the CDC and local government at the time of class.

Images submitted for the photo review can feature post-production. If you shoot in RAW, please convert to JPG. Get a Dropbox.com account, upload your photos, then "share" them with me so we can view them in class.

Please enroll by the Wednesday prior to the start of class to receive the appropriate contact information and meeting location.

Students provide their own transportation. If the class does not meet minimum enrollment, your class fee will be refunded. Class sessions will be rescheduled if there's inclement weather. Bring your camera, charged battery and lenses. There's no need to bring a tripod.
