PHOTOJOURNALISM/STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
It's all about the decisive moment! We'll cover photographing protests, parades, celebrations, events, street performers, strangers, family, friends, pets and more- all while capturing great expressions and interactions. We'll also discuss street photography (chance encounters and random incidents), classic city photos (graffiti, murals, stickers, and more) and camera settings that will increase your chances of getting the shot! Homework assignments will allow you to bring your personal interests and location into the process. We'll meet up again a few weeks later for a photo review.

All cameras are welcome: DSLR, mirrorless, film and iPhone/Android.

Images submitted for the photo review must be straight out of the camera/phone, with absolutely no post-production- including cropping. This will allow me to give accurate feedback. If you shoot in RAW, please convert to JPG. Get a Dropbox.com account, upload your photos, then "share" them with me so we can view them in class.

Tuesdays, July 20 and August 17, 6:30-9:30pm, $100
